If the NDIS plan you get does not meet your reasonable and necessary support needs, you can ask for it to be reviewed.
You must formally ask the NDIS to review your plan.
They must have another person within the NDIS review the plan and communicate the result of that review to you.
If you are still not satisfied with your plan, you can ask to have the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) review the decision. The AAT will review the decision based on information from the NDIS and from you. They will conduct a hearing where you are able to explain why you do not think the NDIS decision is satisfactory
We can:
- Assist you to ask for the internal review
- Assist you to ask for the AAT review
- Accompany you at the AAT hearing and assist in communicating with the AAT
